ISOFP wants to assure a high level standard. We want to ensure our members represent the best the financial industry has to offer. Therefore, ISOFP requires all certified members to continually update themselves with the latest industry knowledge and skills. At ISOFP, annual re-certification is acquired by way of a point system, wherein various activities or assignments are credited toward your certification renewal. Required annual re-certifications offer continued accreditation, and promote your ongoing development and expertise. It assures you’re kept continually up-to-date with the latest in your field, and your expertise remains sharp and polished. Each year, members must acquire 20 points to qualify for re-certification.
These points can be earned in the following methods:  | | 10 points
Attending local or international industry conferences (ISOFP sponsors many conferences, see our list of conferences) | | | | 20 points
Being a thought leader is encouraged at ISOFP.
Submission of industry-related paper (minimum 2000 words, maximum 5000 words) for publication in our online library. | | | | 20 points
Additional ISOFP course. | | | | 10 points
Membership renewal. | |
