PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What is the CCRA?
The Certified Credit Risk Analyst (CCRA) is one of the most widely held credit risk certifications in North America and Asia — introduced in China in 2012 through a formal agreement between ISOFP and the China Financial Training Centre (People’s Bank of China, Beijing Training Institute).
Since its introduction, the CCRA has been universally recognised and endorsed by major financial institutions across China — with state-owned banks, joint-stock banks, city commercial banks, rural commercial banks, and rural credit cooperatives all actively encouraging staff participation.
As of June 2024, over 30,000 credit and risk professionals across China hold a CCRA certification — and the certificate has been adopted by several institutions as a standard criterion for credit role advancement.

REAL STORIES
What CCRA holders say
The SCCRA pushed my thinking from operational credit management to strategic decision-making. It is the most comprehensive credit risk program I have encountered — and the bilingual certification adds real weight when dealing with international counterparties.
As a fresh graduate entering the banking sector, the ACCRA gave me a solid professional foundation before I even started my first credit role. The ethics and legal regulations module was especially relevant for navigating China's regulatory environment.
After completing CCRA I went straight to SCCRA. The exemption system made the progression smooth and my institution fully supported the journey — it is now a standard requirement for our credit team promotions.
I completed the CCRA as a new bank employee and it accelerated my learning curve significantly. The financial statement analysis module alone changed how I evaluate loan applications every single day.
The CCRA gave me the technical depth and credibility to move into a senior credit role. The three-tier structure meant I could progress at my own pace — and the China-specific content was immediately applicable to my daily work.
